Information about the DISC-profile

We humans think differently, make decisions in different ways, communicate in different ways and handle stress, emotions and conflicts in different ways. A DISC profile can identify the strengths of your behaviors and your communication style and help you see your challenges. By becoming aware of your communication style and how it can be perceived by others, you can ensure that you utilize your strengths and adjust your weaknesses to succeed in collaboration with colleagues, in your leadership role and in private relationships.

The DISC profile describes your natural and adapted behavior and communication style. It does not assess your personality but provides a picture of what behavior you seem to prefer in a given situation. There are neither good nor bad profiles – just different profiles. The profile is not an assessment of you as a person or your personality. The profile you receive is a working tool that is primarily for you and your own communicative and behavioral development.

HOW does it work?

You answer 30 questions as honestly as possible in a digital questionnaire. It takes about 15 minutes. Once you have answered all the questions, you will receive your DISC personal profile of about 40 pages via email from me. Make sure you have about 15 minutes where you can be undisturbed and fill in your answers.

After you log in, select the focus area that you want your profile to help you in. You can choose between Work, Social, Family, Sales, Leadership and Student. I recommend that you choose “leader” if you are in a leadership role today and “work” if you do not yet have a leadership role. Then think about yourself in the focus area you have chosen and answer the questions.
